Unbalanced (RCA-RCA) Cable Pair Specifications
Cable Geometry: Multi-conductor OCC silver bundles for signal and return of each cable. See Common Cable Specifications for further details. Connectors: Furutech FP-126 Gold-Plated RCA plug with an OCC copper center pin. We replace the small RCA barrel with a custom-made 303 Stainless Steel RCA barrel which elevates the performance of this connector.
DIN (DIN-RCA, DIN-XLR) Cable Specifications
Cable Geometry: 4 multi-conductor OCC silver conductor bundles + silver-plated copper ground wire from DIN connector. See Common Cable Specifications for further details. Connectors: ˇ Turntable End: 5 pin straight DIN connector. 5 pin angle DIN connector available as an option. ˇ Preamplifier End: Furutech FP-126 Gold-Plated RCA plugs with an OCC copper center pin or Furutech FP-701M/FP-702F Audio Grade Gold-Plated XLR connectors. A 303 Stainless Steel shell replaces the stock Furutech RCA/XLR shell to help minimize the effects of vibration and improve cable strain-relief.
Common Cable Specifications Cable Geometry: Individual Teflon insulated solid core 26/28/30 AWG OCC silver conductor bundles for each signal path. Each conductor bundle is then inserted in a silk tube. An external polyethylene tube provides structural support and a double carbon fiber and braided copper shield provides protection against RFI and EMI noise. Covering: The cable is finished with Techflex expandable sleeving.
